You never have to call us

Every storm runs the same sequence, triggered by depth. No judgement calls, no waiting to find out whether today counts, no phone call from you.

Snow depth thresholds Iceworks clears any snowfall over one inch. At two inches or more, we run alongside the city plows and return to clear the ridge they leave at the end of the driveway. 3" 0" 2" 1"
01 · Over 1 inch
We're out. You never have to call.
Any snowfall over an inch in a single event puts you on the route automatically.
02 · Under 2 inches
We launch once the snow stops.
Going early on a small storm just means doing it twice — so we time it for one clean pass.
03 · Over 2 inches
We launch with the city plows — then run a second pass.
City plows leave a ridge across the end of your driveway after they pass. We return and clear it, so you're not left with the worst part of the job.

We blow. We don't plow.

A plow truck pushes snow — into your lawn, against your garage, and into a windrow across the end of the driveway. A tractor with an inverted snowblower throws it clear instead.

Tractor with inverted snowblower

  • Cleared to the edge — no windrow left behind
  • No blade on your driveway, no gouged turf in spring
  • About a tenth the noise of a walk-behind blower
  • Handles the deep, heavy stuff a truck pushes around

The ridge the city plow leaves

  • Packed, heavy, and always across the one spot you need
  • Arrives after you've already cleared the driveway yourself
  • On storms over 2 inches, we come back for it
  • Included — it isn't an add-on or a second visit charge

Iceworks performed great service. I appreciated the prompt and regular updates on when my driveway would be plowed. I have been using them for the last few years and am planning to use them next season as well. Thank you and keep up the good and quality work!

Common questions

Where does Iceworks provide snow removal?
Iceworks serves residential driveways in Blaine, Circle Pines, Coon Rapids, Lexington, and Lino Lakes (MN).
When does the snow removal season run?
Our season runs November 1 through April 15. When it snows our crews work through the night so driveways are clear by morning.
Is there a minimum snowfall before you come out?
Yes — we service driveways for any snowfall over 1 inch of new accumulation in a single snow event.
When do you clear my driveway?
Every storm runs through the same Launch Sequence, so the timing is never a judgement call. Under 2 inches we launch once the snow stops — one clean pass, because going early on a small storm just means doing it twice. Over 2 inches we launch in sync with the city plows, then run a second pass for the ridge they leave across the end of your driveway.
Do you clear the ridge left by city plows?
Yes — on any storm over 2 inches we come back for the ridge the city plow leaves across your apron. Same storm, same price.
Can I track your crew and get updates?
Yes. You can follow our fleet with real-time GPS tracking and receive storm alerts and route updates through our customer portal.
