Our service
Snow Removal Services in Blaine, MN
One service, done right. We clear your driveway for any snowfall over 1 inch with tractor-mounted inverted snowblowers and GPS-tracked routes — for one flat seasonal price.

Iceworks provides a single residential snow-removal service in Blaine, MN and the surrounding cities of Circle Pines, Coon Rapids, Ham Lake, Lexington, and Lino Lakes. We clear residential driveways for any snowfall over 1 inch of new accumulation, using tractors with inverted snowblowers. Storms under 2 inches are cleared once the snow ends; for storms over 2 inches we work alongside the city crews and, where we reach you first, return to clear the ridge they leave behind. Every plan includes GPS-tracked routes and customer-portal storm alerts, from November 1 to April 15. Pricing is one flat seasonal price by driveway width, with a custom quote for larger driveways.
How it works
Snow removal, the Iceworks way
1-Inch Trigger
We service your driveway for any snowfall over 1 inch of new accumulation in a single snow event. No need to call — once a storm crosses 1 inch, you are already on our route.
The Launch Sequence
Every storm runs the same sequence, so timing is never guesswork. Under 2 inches we launch when the snow stops — one clean pass. Over 2 inches we launch with the city crews, and where we get there first we run a second pass for the ridge they leave behind.
City Ridge Removal
When we reach your street before the city does, they leave a plow ridge across the end of your driveway after us — and we come back for it on the same storm. When they have already been through, we take that ridge out in our own pass. It is compacted snow the city has dragged, which is why we time the first pass the way we do.
Tractor Snowblowers
Our tractors use inverted snowblower implements that lift the snow and throw it clear — gently and quietly, at about one-tenth the noise of a walk-behind blower.
Real-Time GPS Tracking
Follow our tractor fleet live during every storm. You always know where our crews are and roughly when your driveway will be cleared.
Customer Portal & Alerts

Why a tractor snowblower
Snow lifted and thrown clear, or pushed somewhere else
We clear driveways with a tractor-mounted inverted snowblower rather than a blade. Here's what that changes for your driveway, your lawn and the pile that isn't there in March.
| Iceworks tractor snowblower | A blade pushing snow | |
|---|---|---|
| How the snow moves | Lifted and thrown well clear of the driveway | A blade pushes it across the surface and onto the lawn |
| Noise | About 1/10th the noise of a walk-behind blower | Loud truck engine and blade noise |
| End-of-driveway pile | We come back for the city ridge where we reached you first | Often pushes more snow into the driveway entrance |
| Where snow goes | Blown neatly onto your yard, not piled on the boulevard | Piled wherever the blade pushes it |
| Best for | Residential driveways that you want cleared cleanly | Large commercial lots |

FAQ
Service questions
- What is the 1-inch trigger?
- We service your driveway for any snowfall over 1 inch of new accumulation in a single snow event. There is no need to call — once a storm crosses 1 inch, you are on our route.
- What is the Launch Sequence?
- Every storm runs through the same Launch Sequence, so the timing is never a judgement call. Under 2 inches we launch once the snow stops — one clean pass, because going early on a small storm just means doing it twice. Over 2 inches we launch in sync with the city crews — and where we reach you before they do, we run a second pass for the ridge they leave across the end of your driveway.
- Do you clear the ridge the city leaves?
- Where we get to you before the city does, yes — they leave a plow ridge across the end of your driveway after us, and we come back for it on the same storm at no extra charge. Where the city has already been through your street before we arrive, we take the ridge out in our own pass. What we do not do is make a second trip for a ridge that was already cleared.
- What is included in the service?
- Driveway-only residential snow removal for any snowfall over 1 inch, with tractor-mounted inverted snowblowers, GPS-tracked routes, customer-portal storm alerts and updates, and city ridge removal on larger storms — all for one flat seasonal price (November 1–April 15).
- What is NOT included?
- We are a driveway-only service. We do not offer shoveling, salting or de-icing, rooftop snow removal, mailbox clearing, or on-call services.
- How much does snow removal cost?
- Pricing is one flat seasonal price based on how wide your driveway is — measured by how many cars fit side by side. There is a single plan, no Standard vs Premium tiers, and no per-visit charges. Enter your address to see your price.
